A Little Something....

Today's card is created using the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set from the January - June 2022 Mini Catalogue. The sentiment 'a little something to brighten your day' included in the set is perfect to cheer someone up.

A Little Something with a rainbow

To make this card I cut the rainbow die from the 4 different colour cardstocks. I also cut the rainbow die from a piece of Basic White cardstock 97mm x 140mm. After die cutting I embossed the Basic White piece using the Timeless Type 3D embossing folder. Next, I layered the Basic White piece to a Pacific Point A5 base card using Stampin' Dimensionals. I then added Liquid Glue to the back of the rainbow pieces and mounted them to the Pacific Point base card throught the diecut to help with alignment. Next, I stamped the sentiment using Granny Apple Green ink onto a 50mm x 50mm piece of Basic White before die cutting using the Stylish Shapes dies. This was then mounted to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. Finally, I coloured some Rhinestone Basic Jewels using Stampin' Blends to coordinate with the colours used and added to the card front.

Artfully Layered 2

Today's card is another made using the Artfully Layered Stamp set and cooridinating products.

You can see my previous card here.

Artfully Layered Birthday card

To make this card I started with a Basic Black A5 cardbase which I glued a 101mm x 145mm layer of DSP to. I then cut a 74mm x 119mm piece of Basic Black cardstock and adhered a 74mm x 114mm piece of DSP to. Next, I stamped the leaf using Old Olive ink onto a piece of Basic White and die cut. I also die cut the other elements using Mint Macaron and Evening Evergreen cardstock. These where then glued to the smaller layer before mounting to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Basic Black card using Versamark ink and then Heat Embossed using White Embossing Powder. I fussy cut around the sentiment before mounting to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. The final touch was to add a couple of the Polished Dots.

Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #43

Hi and welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop for June.  Thanks so much for hopping with us this month. The theme for our June Blog Hop is a Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch we were challenged to use.

June Sketch Challenge

I kept my card pretty simple and let the gorgeous Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper do all the work.

Here's my end creation.

Flowering Tulips Thanks card

To make my card I used a Highland Heather card base. Next, I cut a piece of the dsp, 10cm x 14.8cm, and glued to the base card leaving the folded edge free and lining up the open edge. This creates the 'strip' on the left. I then cut a piece of Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer Ribbon and flagged one end. I added Tear & Tape to the back and adhered to the card front, trimming any excess overhanging the open edge. Next, I cut a strip of Rich Razzleberry cardstock, 7.5cm x 1.5cm. I flagged one end, applied liquid glue to the back and then added to the card front as shown, again trimming any overhand on the open edge. My sentiment is from the Flowering Tulips stamp set and I have stamped this onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Rich Razzleberry ink. I have then die cut this using the Layering Circle dies along with a larger circle from Highland Heather. I have glued these 2 pieces together before mounting to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I hope my card has inspired you in some way and thanks for visiting.

Boughs & Blossoms

Todays card features the Boughs & Blossoms stamp set. This set is from the, 'soon to be retiring',  January - June 2022 Mini Catalogue and can currently be purchased at a 30% discount.

I have also used the new Artistic Mix Decorative Masks from the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue.

Boughs & Blossoms Thank You card

To make my card, I created a background on the Basic White cardstock using Pale Papaya ink and the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks. This was then glued to an Evening Evergreen layer and then a Soft Succulent base card.

Next, I stamped the flowers and leaves onto Basic White cardstock using Pale Papaya and Evening Evergreen inks and fussy cut. These images where then mounted to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

My sentiment was stamped in Soft Succulent ink onto Basic White cardstock and die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. This was then mounted to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Lastly, I coloured some Whisper White Baker's Twine using the Dark Soft Succulent Stampin' Blend, tied a bow and added to the card front using a Mini Glue Dot.
